Focus Academy is a tuition-free Florida public charter school. We provide students with cognitive and developmental challenges a community that supports feelings of value, connection and lifetime success. Our innovative and integrated teaching approach equips students with the necessary skills to live purposeful and enriched lives.
MIDDLE SCHOOL(GRADES 6-8)

Opened in 2022, our Middle School program accepts students for grades 6 through 8. Utilizing the same innovative techniques and curriculum that have characterized the Focus Academy High School and
Transition programs, our Middle School program will focus on intensive
reading.

Rigorous academics are a key component to our learning environment. Focus Academy students work towards a Standard Diploma via an Access
Points curriculum.
TRANSITION PROGRAM(AGES 19-22)

The mission of the Focus Academy Transition Program is to prepare each student for the most independent and satisfying adult life possible. This program builds on the philosophical approach of our High School program in that transition, life and employability skills training are combined with a continued and expanded focus on independent
functioning skills, social competency, and social connection. Opportunities to continue to work on these all important life skills needed
for future independence.
