Executive leadership

Clayton Clemens | Executive Director

Clemens assumed the role of Executive Director and Director of Philanthropic Giving at Project Focus. Prior to this, he worked with the government consulting firm, Floridian Partners, and subsequently represented Florida Internet and Television as their Director of Public Affairs. At both entities, his core responsibilities encompassed government policy, public relations, and catering to a broad spectrum of client needs. Clemens began his career by overseeing campaigns for candidates in the 2016 elections.

He currently serves in the following organizations: The University of Tampa Board of Counselors, Florida Chamber’s Political Institute, Associated Industries of Florida Political Council, LIVE Tampa Bay, and an Alliance Partner with SAFE in Tampa Bay.

He was formerly President of 21 & Change, Inc., a Tampa Bay nonprofit where he oversaw the fundraising efforts and distribution of over $50,000 in scholarships to Florida families in need that have children with developmental disabilities.

Clayton and his wife Emily live in Tampa and rescued a black lab. His name is Charlie! In his spare time, you can find him coaching CrossFit, enjoying live music, or searching for the best bar food in town.

Eric D. Isenbergh

Eric Isenbergh

Board President

As a founding member of Focus Academy, Isenbergh has been integral to the organization since its inception. With over 45 years of extensive experience in the residential building and development industry, he has played a key role in more than 40 projects across South, West, and Central Florida, marketing and constructing over 3,700 homes.

After relocating to the Tampa Bay region, Isenbergh made an impressive impact by developing and building over 1,700 townhomes and condominiums within just five years, generating over $230 million in revenue. His company achieved remarkable recognition, ranking #14 and #11 in the Builder Top 25 as reported by the Tampa Bay Business Journal.

Currently, he is focused on developing 55+ active adult communities in the Tampa Bay area. Isenbergh is a Florida State Certified General Contractor and serves as the current President of Florida Home Partnership, the largest nonprofit self-help housing builder in the southeastern United States. He has also held significant leadership roles, including Past Vice Chairman of the Hillsborough County Affordable Housing Advisory Board, where he served four terms, and Past President and Life Director of the Tampa Bay Builders Association. His influence extends to the Builders Association of South Florida, the Florida Homebuilders Association, and the National Association of Homebuilders.

Isenbergh and his companies have garnered numerous accolades, including the 1994 Builder of the Year award from the Builders Association of South Florida, the 2004 Builder of the Year award from the Tampa Bay Builders Association, and multiple Eagle Awards from both the Florida Homebuilders Association and the Tampa Bay Builders Association. His work has also been recognized with several Florida Achievement in Marketing Excellence awards, Parade of Homes awards, Best of South awards, and Florida’s prestigious Aurora Award.

George

George Radka

Board President

Radka works at Learning Gate Community School in Lutz, Florida as the ESE Supervisor. He has worked in exceptional student education for over five years, with extensive experience teaching students on the Autism Spectrum. Before moving to Florida in 2016, he lived in Chicago, and worked as a paramedic. He received his ventilator certification, and has experience working with UCAN, the University of Chicago Aeromedical Network, serving critical neonates, complex cardio-vascular patients, and high-risk trauma accidents. He currently resides near Tampa with his wife and 2-year-old son, with a daughter on the way! As a member of the Project Focus Foundation Board, he volunteers his time on the steering committee, helping to shape the future of the Focus Family of services. As an Eagle Scout, he enjoys his time outdoors, camping, hiking, while conservation and sustainability have a big place in his heart.
Ildes

Ildes Sotelo

Board President

Sotelo is a dynamic and passionate entrepreneur. She was born in Montevideo, Uruguay and has spent a large portion of her professional career in Florida. Her remarkable journey began at the age of 27 when she ventured into the world of international logistics. Now, at 54, she’s the proud owner of Alpico International, a prominent international freight forwarding company located in Port Manatee, Florida. Her compassion and drive to help children and young adults with disabilities has been unwavering and she is a valuable part of the Project Focus Foundation as a Board Member and strong community advocate.
Katie

Katie Molloy

Board President

Molloy is a Tampa-based Board-Certified Labor and Employment Attorney and Shareholder with Greenberg Traurig, LLP. She focuses her practice on trade secret and restrictive covenant litigation, and defending matters involving discrimination, harassment, wrongful discharge, and wage and hour claims in state and federal court. She provides advice and counseling on all employment law and human resources matters, and assists employers with administrative investigations before the EEOC, DOL, and NLRB.
Carol

Carole Dell

Board President

Dell was born and raised in Tampa and attended local schools. She has a BS and a MA in Education from the University of South Florida. Dell taught in the public school system of Hillsborough County until she and her husband, Clif, started a family. At that time, she stayed home to raise their children and volunteered in their classrooms and at the local PTAs, taught Sunday School, raised funds for her children’s sports teams, and enjoyed being a Girl Scout leader for several years. The Dell family moved to Temple Terrace in 1979 where they all live today. The Dells enjoy boating and participating in all water sports with their children and grandchildren. When their children were grown, Dell returned to the classroom where she was a Title One teacher for remedial reading and math for several years, later joining the staff of Sacred Heart Academy where she taught for 16 years. Dell is a member of Temple Terrace Presbyterian Church and the Temple Terrace Woman’s Club. After retiring, she served on various Citizens Committees for the city of Temple Terrace. She most recently termed out after nine years on the Temple Terrace School Support Committee and the River Watch Task Force. She is currently the chair of the Temple Terrace Public Library Board. Dell and her family have a lifetime commitment to serving the youth in their community.
Stephen Cassell

Stephan Cassell

Board President

Stephen Cassell is the Vice President of Business Development at DB Trucking. With a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Stephen has built a diverse career, holding various positions in the petroleum industry as well as at UPS. His extensive experience in these sectors has equipped him with a unique blend of skills and insights. Outside of his professional life, Stephen is a dedicated family man, married with five children. He enjoys spending his free time golfing, cooking, and relaxing at the beach.
Chave Johnson

Chave Johnson

Board President

Chave Johnson: Board Member Chave Johnson was born in Sancti Espiritus, Cuba. Her parents immigrated to Tampa in 1968. For 30 years she was in the advertising and marketing field. More recently she has been working for Mobley Homes Tampa as a production assistant. She has been on the board of the Sacred Heart Council of Catholic Women, Our Lady of Grace District and the Saint Petersburg Diocesan Council of Catholic Women. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She has 2 children: Carlos and Miranda.
