Focus Café

Located inside the Temple Terrace Family Recreation Complex, Focus Café is a fully functioning nonprofit business serving beverages and snacks to patrons and the public.

Designed and adopted by Project Focus, it is staffed by Focus Academy Transition Program students, who learn valuable skills such as inventory, customer service, using a cash register, and more.

About The Café

Focus Café typically operates Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. during the school year as well as during summer hours. Focus Academy Transition Program students are assigned to the Café as part of their Community Based Training. During the summer, members from Focus Forward work at the Café.

The Café offers typical coffee shop fare such as hot coffee, tea, bottled beverages, and pre-packaged snacks and treats. Seasonal snack options are also available. A seating area including tables and stools is located nearby for those patrons who wish to enjoy their purchases inside… A “Coffee Lover” frequent purchase card is available.
