Tampa Glow Row 2026
The Tampa Glow Row returns for its second year in Tampa Bay this Saturday, transforming Ybor City into a high-energy, inclusive fitness and music festival that brings together athletes with and without developmental disabilities for a one-of-a-kind community experience.
Hosted by Project Focus, the event will welcome more than 300 participants, families, and community members to row a marathon as a team, while enjoying live DJs, local vendors, food trucks, and a vibrant festival atmosphere. Glow Row serves as both a celebration and a fundraiser, supporting programs that provide education, workforce development, and life skills training for individuals with developmental disabilities across Tampa Bay.
“This event is a reflection of what’s possible when a community comes together with purpose,” said Clayton Clemens, Executive Director of Project Focus. “We are incredibly grateful for the continued support from our community and partners like Cigar City CrossFit for opening their doors to make this possible. As we look ahead, the need for innovative solutions, like our vision for an inclusive, mixed-use residential community, has never been greater. Events like Glow Row help bring that vision to life while supporting individuals and families today.”
State leaders and community partners will also be in attendance, reinforcing the importance of inclusion and opportunity for individuals with developmental disabilities.
“I want to commend Project Focus and everyone involved in organizing this incredible event,” said State Representative Danny Alvarez. “Supporting individuals with developmental disabilities is a priority, and it’s inspiring to see a community come together in such a meaningful and engaging way. I encourage everyone to get involved—not just in this event, but in efforts like this that create real opportunities for people across our region.”
The event will also feature remarks and participation from the Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities, highlighting the state’s ongoing commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities.
“We are proud to support initiatives like Tampa Glow Row that create incredible opportunities and strengthen communities,” said Robert “Bob” Asztalos, Director of the Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities. “Our commitment remains focused on expanding access, independence, and quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities, and events like this play an important role in that mission.”
The Tampa Glow Row continues to grow as a signature community event in Tampa Bay, blending fitness, music, and purpose while creating an environment where everyone can participate, connect, and thrive.
“Clayton and the team at Project Focus have done a tremendous job bringing together local businesses and community leaders for a fantastic cause. The Tampa Glow Row is another great example of how Project Focus continues to unite the Tampa community in support of worthy causes,” said Ben Bunn, Owner of Cigar City CrossFit.
