Focus Future reflects the next chapter of the founders mission: “A thriving community within a community”
Focus Future is a community-based residential model that expands inclusive housing opportunities for individuals with IDD in the Tampa Bay region. It supports personal choice, promotes independence, and encourages full participation in the broader community.
The “community within a community” concept is designed to offer walkable access to the community and easy accessibility to public transportation.
The community will offer on-site services such as workforce development; life skills programs and social activities provided by independent organizations. These programs are entirely voluntary and are based on each family’s and clients preferences. Housing will not be tied to service participation.
These elements represent the organization’s current vision and will continue to evolve as planning, partnerships, and community support progress.
