In Hillsborough County alone, over 172,000 people live with a disability, many who rely on aging caregivers they will likely outlive. What happens when those caregivers are no longer there? Housing is one of the most critical challenges for Floridians today, and for those with developmental disabilities, the situation is even more dire.
Rising costs of living, longer life expectancies, and limited housing options present an urgent crisis that cannot be ignored.
