What is the Glow Row?

Started by Jenn and Sam Dancer (professional CrossFit Games athletes), the Glow Row is an annual fundraiser for the Dancer Love Foundation to help empower individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities through fitness, education, and love.

Project Focus is excited to partner with Crossfit Hyde Park and the Dancer Love Foundation to bring this event to Tampa to programs and services for young people with developmental disabilities in our community.

The Glow Row is a marathon row (26.1 miles) split up between teammates. We will have a DJ, food and drinks for purchase, prizes, raffles, silent auction and a lot of fun!

What do you need to sign up?

Each team needs 10 teammates, a tent/canopy to use as homebase, and a team theme – think tent decor, coordinated outfits, etc.! Get creative! Decorate everything but the rower. Registered participants will be provided with an event t-shirt, waters and Gatorades throughout the event.

What prizes will be earned? We’ll be awarding prizes for the fastest row, most spirited team, and the team that raises the most money.

Saturday, June 7th – 5pm-10pm

  • 5pm: check-in starts

  • 5:30pm: announcements and National Anthem

  • 6pm: The race begins!

  • 10 pm event concludes, award prizes
